How long does Ceramic Coating last?
We try to offer something for everyone here at Polish-It Garage. When booking your ceramic coating, you can choose from a one-year, two-year, five-year, or a seven-year coating.
How much does Ceramic Coating cost?
Look, we know everyone just wants a straight answer to this question. The truth is, it's like anything else. You get what you pay for. If you have a smaller car and want a shorter-term coating, you'll pay the lower cost, our starting at price of $600 for a 1-year coating and $1,000 for a 7-year coating. It'll be amazing and your car will be protected for the number of years you chose.
But, if you have a bigger SUV or truck and you want a 5 or 7-year ceramic coating, we're going to put in the elbow work and yeah, usually legit blood, sweat, and tears to make sure your vehicle is protected. No matter where you take your car, you will be charged accordingly for this service, including Polish-It. We believe in charging fair prices for the work done and we can likely beat most fees. We're not here to get rich off you. We're here because we love cars and love taking care of them. Click here to get a quote.
A little more info on why you may want a Ceramic Coating?
Adam’s Polishes Ceramic Coating is not a product for everyone. It’s more expensive than our other wax and sealant products due to the cost of the chemicals and does require much more care and technique to apply and remove. This is a product for the perfectionist that wants to keep their vehicle finish looking as perfect as possible for the longest amount of time in between detailing sessions, that may not have time to do a full detail 3 or 4 times per year.
For your daily driver, you will love how water seems to dance off the car after a rainstorm, making cleanup afterward a breeze. Or for your show car that has a soft clear coat that scratches easily, you will have a little more reassurance when washing the vehicle or wiping it down at a show.
Is a Ceramic Coating stronger than Clear Bra?
Because we only use the best, Adam's Polishes Ceramic Coating here at Polish-It Garage, our coating is strong. Adam's new 9H formula is one of the hardest ceramics on the market. However, when it comes to clear bra and ceramics you have to remember both are serving two different purposes. Clear Bra typically goes in high-impact areas of the vehicle and acts as a self-healing rubber-like bearer against rock chips and other light road debris. If you have just a ceramic coating on the high-impact areas of your vehicle, a rock chipping the paint at 70 mph is completely possible.
For the best combination, we suggest doing a paint correction on the areas you would like clear bra, apply clear bra, then ceramic coat over the entire area. You will now have the best of both worlds. Note - a clear bra cannot be placed over a ceramic coating - it will not allow the clear bra to properly adhere.
